Melinda Dallas

Melinda has a strong alignment with the not-for-profit sector, having held various positions over the last 24 years. She has strong skills across governance, financial and operational management including 10 years as a Managing Partner of Association Professionals.

A particular strength Melinda offers is the analysis and streamlining of administrative procedures through the utilisation of online systems, leading to the effective use of resources and a reduction in duplication and errors that can occur in manual systems.  She has extensive experience in developing and delivering professional development activities as well as managing the delivery of government funded projects.

Prior to forming Association Professionals, Melinda had full responsibility for the operations of two associations, both in the primary industries. She has a Graduate Certificate in Management and a Certificate in Corporate Governance (NFPs) from Chartered Secretaries Australia.  She also held a role as Operations and Membership Manager of a peak body in allied health which included responsibility for: membership recruitment, retention and satisfaction; communications including website and database development and social media; finance through to annual audit and special projects including Awards of Excellence and scholarships.

 

Sonia Daniels

Sonia has over 25 years’ experience in the for-purpose and corporate industries, with extensive expertise in engagement, communications, marketing, event and project management and strategic planning.  Passionate about building authentic, impactful relationships and possessing a keen eye for strategy, she excels in developing and executing initiatives that drive growth, elevate brand presence, and create meaningful experiences.

Known for her collaborative approach and dedication to for making a difference, Sonia focusses on understanding our clients’ unique needs and goals to create strategies that deliver measurable outcomes.   She is committed to achieving excellence in operational management and consistently exceeding our clients’ expectations whilst upholding a strong sense of ethics and integrity in her business practices. 

Sonia’s diverse experience across various sectors, provides clients with benefits of comprehensive insights, tailored strategies, and a versatile approach that adapts to their unique needs and challenges. 

Our staff

Our staff of 15, located across Victoria, Tasmania, New South Wales and Queensland, include dedicated association managers, administration officers, conference managers and finance officers.
